Lorie J Hickey

Bio

Lorie is the business manager for the Neutron Sciences Directorate.

In this role, she leads a team of financial analysts providing guidance and consultation to customers in all aspects of the financial process, which includes cost objects, costing of funds, budgets, receipt and allocation of funds, overhead applications, cost distribution methods, reporting, and corrective actions.

Hickey has more than 40 years of experience working in business and finance for the Department of Energy management contractors in Oak Ridge. She has worked on special projects such as funds control, user facility rates, risk mitigation, subcontract management accruals, and the business development training program. She has also served in the mentoring program, job shadowing, and on various DOE project review panels.

Lorie earned a B.S. degree in Business Administration with concentration in accounting from Lee University.
