R Wayne Steffey
PMO Project Management Group Leader for HFIR
Bio
Wayne Steffey currently serves as the Project Management Group Leader for the High Flux Isotope Reactor (HFIR) and is working with the HFIR Upgrades Project Office (HUPO) as the interim Project Manager for the HFIR Beryllium Reflector Replacement (HBRR) & Pressure Vessel Replacement (PVR) projects. He has over thirty-five years of commercial and government project management experience, including Department of Defense, Department of Energy and international collaboration projects. Wayne has a Master’s degree in Project Management from Western Carolina University and serves on numerous DOE project cost and schedule review committees. He is certified as a Project Management Professional.
