Select gas dosing activities are supported by Sample Environment, with gas panels that can be configured to provide calibrated volumes, vacuum pumps, overpressure protection, etc. Gas panel pressure relief valves are typically set to 1500 psi (100 bar) and transducers provide pressure indication between 0 and 600 bar. Please contact High Pressure group for questions regarding dosing with specific gases.

Significant capabilities are also available and supported through the beamline teams themselves. Examples include the AGES system, as used on POWGEN, or the high temperature gas flow environment developed for NOMAD.
