Polymers & Soft Matter

Neutron studies of soft matter dynamics are crucial to understanding a wide range of products and systems, including colloids, polymers, membranes, biological macromolecules, foams, emulsions, biological and biomimetic systems, and phenomena involving wetting, friction, adhesion, or microfluidics. These studies can be performed non-destructively under controlled environments, including extreme temperatures and pressures (up to 120 GPa), high magnetic fields, stress or shear, gas mixtures, and pH.
